The Bremen International Graduate School of Social Sciences (BIGSSS) has announced available PhD scholarships and post-doc positions in the field relevant for higher education studies: political science, sociology, psychology, law and economics. The positions are linked to three thematic areas: Global governance and regional integration; Welfare state, inequality, and quality of life; Changing lives in changing socio-cultural contexts.
BIGSSS is an inter-university institute of the University of Bremen and Jacobs University Bremen and is funded by the German Excellence Initiative.
Available positions include:
- 15-18 PhD scholarships
- 2-3 Postdoctoral Positions
- 2 Predoctoral Fellowships for BA Graduates
